Thought I was bouta get an Ed Harris masterclass and they kicked him out of the whole second half 😞

First half was more successful than the second. Didn’t need an Okja sequel with more steps.

Peak fiction. Probably the most aware sci-fi story in terms of knowing how to mesh politics, religion, war, and science into one. And regarding adaptability, the expanse of the plot is never understated by Villenueve. So much was packed into this runtime, yet the pacing rarely struggled. Not to mention, we were blessed with not one, but TWO quotes of “among us” in this feature. Excellent writing, glad I saw this early.

Such great performances all around amidst an outstanding screenplay. You could say it was the bomb 😐
