First off, Mikey Madison is phenomenal, and truly captured my attention within the first few scenes. The two consistent themes of classism and the leading character’s personal struggles portrayed throughout the film play heavily into Ani’s character and journey.

Speak No Evil 2024
First things first, did I go to the movie theater by myself to watch this simply because of James McAvoy? Yes absolutely. But so did everyone, so you can’t blame me.
Second, I actually really enjoyed this, the slow burn anticipation was very well developed and the acting was amazing. The ending just fell a little flat to me, I feel like something is lacking as a shock factor as to why all of this happened. Yes there was an explanation, but I needed more of a backstory. I don’t know maybe I’m just impossible to please.
