The remake of the ridiculous vote fun 80s slasher ups the violence, but kind of forgets the ridiculousness.
By making it an AI Doll, the tension of escaping the doll gets thrown out. Amd then we just have past versus future. It loses something.
It also loses the characters understanding of the ridiculous plot that the 80s movie had
Still, fine performances and Gross Ways To Die happen. Entertaining but Gen X here says the Original is better.
Could have cut out some time here, but still very enjoyable Con Artist Movie with Mother Daughter Weaver and J Love looking for men to swoon and swindle.
Everyone seems to be having fun, except maybe for Hackman, who (deliberately) looks horrible. I was expecting one ending, but got the obvious one instead.

You all were correct. This was lots of fun and funny, full of action. And great chemistry between two very charismatic stars. Very enjoyable!!

Emma Thompson absolutely should have been in Best Actress, replacing Meryl for me. Tom Hanks was appropriately in the conversation. Too.
I am not a fan of the classic movie, finding it annoying and dull, but with good songs.
But this is interesting stuff!
