I thought this story's horror was a lot more solid than Get Out, which felt more interesting than anything else, and it's humor was even better too imo. One thing it made me think was that Peele is really great at writing realistic subtle dialogue that really makes his characters feel super real and alive. Loved every member of this family from minute one.
My only real problem was that I thought a lot of the tension was snuffed out…

Unironically one of the absolute best movies I've ever seen just from the pure unbridled entertainment. I wish I was born Indian and knew about the history behind this just so I could appreciate it more. All movies need to have the fierce passion, unabashed boldness, and pure love that this one has. This is peak storytelling.
