Dogtooth 2009
Three teens isolated in a estate by their controlling parents, spending their time learning a new vocabulary and weird games to get praise from their parents. The father is the only person to leave for work and Christina (an outsider) is the only person to enter to see to the son's urges.
Another fantastic film by Yorgos Lanthimos, the dad so controlling and sadistic to keep his children within this little bubble, and the kids all traumatised in their own way from their upbringing, I also learned where dogs come from!

What a dark, depressing film, absolutely brilliant cast from Olivia Coleman, Peter Mullan and Eddie Marsan. Olivia plays a brilliant portrayal of an abused women who comes to find some solace in a man (Peter Mullan) who's fighting his own dark lifeless existence trying to find his way back to the light.
