    First time revisiting since theaters

Every single second of this movie is gorgeous to look at

I still find this to be a significant step up from the first one (which I like!) in almost every way - better set pieces, richer character work and emotional beats, stronger performances, it's all leveled up for Part 2 - excited to see what part 3 has in store!

Demi Moore is awesome here - I kinda loved the direction of the entire cast, there's a very bombastic/over-the-top energy at play that really worked for me

Holy shit dude what a finale!

    What a delight!

Margot Robbie brings so much depth and interiority to her role, and Ryan Gosling is totally committed to his absolutely bonkers version of Ken, it's wonderful to behold - in lesser hands Barbie & Ken could have been played like glorified SNL caricatures, but thankfully this movie and these performances had a lot more in mind

Literally every single time they even cut to Micheal Cera's face, I laughed - very happy to see him back at the movies!
