The Brutalist 2024
A pretty monumental achievement for a film maker, The Brutalist ticked pretty much all the boxes for me. Despite the intimidating runtime, it flew by for me, with not a second wasted. This is pretty much perfect in every way, with the acting, score, cinematography, writing and editing being top notch, it is hard not to call this a masterpiece. The effects for most part look pretty great (most of the underwater stuff looks fantastic), and I kind of like the story more I think? (it's certainly more original than the first one).
