Donnie darko is one of my favorite films, and here’s why.
it’s about the sentimentality of holding onto a memory of a fond encounter at which I resonate greatly with, Donnie’s characters emotions are presented so rawly and the fact that he suffers from mental illness makes you wonder if what is happening is true or and apart of a parallel universe or if it’s just a fragment of his imagination.
