  More credit needs to be given to this film - elements of comedy and romance as well as concepts around medical devices. It may seem slow and less dramatic to some people given that it is a robot trying to become human, but I don’t think every movie needs to have a raging war between humans and robots. I think it was nice that we just went on a journey as he transitioned to being human, navigating his feelings and emotions, which is ultimately the same as we all do.

  I don’t know how they do it, but these films get it spot on every time in my opinion. It’s a cool way for kids to understand emotions and all the changes/adjustments that come with growing up, but also for adults. Great way of showing the inner battle we may have with ourselves and various emotions, as well as how all our experiences (the good and bad) shape us. 

  This film had me welling up at times but also pissing myself laughing (big up Pouchy)
