The fact that this movie was even made is pretty incredible, adding on that it really works is even better, but I can't help but wonder why some elements look cheap. The CGI is top notch, but the backgrounds and props look like foam and rubber quickly thrown together before the camera rolls. I guess that's what happens when you hire a TV director to helm your mega franchise movie. Joss Whedon's script is very well done, but his direction does leave something to be desired. But hey...that's just us.

Captain America: The First Avenger 2011
Chris Evans is the perfect Steve Rogers, he brings such a charm and likeability, and dare I saw good old American nature to the film. The film itself is fine, elevated by its performances. The idea of a Marvel war movie is interesting but it fails to really live up to that with most of the war action skipped over. It is a great introduction to the character though and sets him on the path to be a stand out in the MCU in the future.

Leprechaun Returns 2018
A surprisingly enjoyable film with a great Leprechaun performance. Even without Warwick Davis, the film manages to find its footing enough to tell an entertaining story with some pretty brutal kills.

Leprechaun: Origins 2014
A 3 hour documentary of a landfill would still not have as much trash on screen as this film. A true abomination.
