I felt uncomfortable the entire movie (which was definitely the intent). We are all victims of our socialization. In a cinematic universe that has seldom confronted the quarries of female pleasure, it only makes sense as to why the uncharted waters of Babygirl are, well, unsettling for many viewers. Novelty is taboo, which is why the movie will probably be more digestible for me in ten years (although, to be fair, the script is cheap at times). Oh, and what elixir is Nicole Kidman sipping???

Wicked 2024
GOING TO THE MOVIES IS COOL AGAIN. I cried literally five minutes into this film. Ariana and Cynthia bring their souls into this movie, making it effortless to connect with Elphie and Glinda. They show us what it means to be courageous, empathetic. I can’t wait to see both of them accept their Oscar on stage! I hope everyone reading this gets all that their heart desires.

AVANTIKA AS KAREN ADDED FIVE YEARS TO MY LIFE. Also girl I really hope we have a class together next semester lmao. I’m never gonna stop thinking about the Lindsey Lohan cameo; she literally aged backwards wtf. This movie is such a fun…

A captivating symphony of color, sound, light, and picture, Poor Things is provocative and deeply existential, tugging at the heartstrings of each and every viewer. Socially and sexually deviant, Bella Baxter has redefined what it looks like to be a woman. Her exceptionally long, black hair makes…
