  Dog Day Afternoon tells the story of a bank robbery gone wrong. Al Pacino, as the "brains" of the operation, brings an electrical performance, filled with lunatic energy that expertly captures the strange blend of pride and self-deprecation. It's got excellent, EXCELLENT acting, fantastic plot, including parts that keep you nailed to your chair. If you want to see a great crime film, I highly suggest renting or buying this film.
