  I was happy watching this film: eerie cinematography, good performances and a clunky narrative told with such slick self-confidence makes it an easy viewing. But for a film trying to expose the abysmally sleazy, violently misogynistic life of Soho and the 60s, never once did I feel truly shocked or horrified.
