The trailer looked so much better than the movie.
There was one part of this movie that was good, but it’s never explained how it happens. How does he break out?
And the Dad is an asshole when he’s not a werewolf, so why is the wife staying with him again?
This was not a good movie.
Interesting idea to weave the werewolf into mythology. The CGI was terrible.
Love Shane Black. He knows how to write buddy action movies.
Gosling was great in this. Made me laugh a few times.
I was interested to see a movie with a young Ike Clanton (Stephen Lang played him in TOMBSTONE). It also had Leon, Lauren Holly, James Remar & Larry Fishburne. He became “Laurence” later on wheh he got serious lol.
The elevator pitch for this one is: “Miami Vice meets Young Guns”
Even without knowing you can tell this is a Michael Mann movie. The cinematography, the use of popular songs for dramatic scene (Mister Mister’s Broken Wings for the Nikki/Carlos scene is the best example) and the action.
It’s pretty dated, but it wasn’t bad.
