Saw this the other night with some friends from my blu ray copy. I love this film, its one of John Carpenters best work. Kurt Russel kicks all types of ass and owns the character of Snake Plissken.

Watched this a couple of weeks ago and I struggle to find words for this film. It was the biggest bleh in recent cinema. I didn't hate it but didn't love it either. Not a bad film but not Great either. Im happy Kieran Culkin won his first Oscar but thats really the only thing that will be remembered about this movie.

This is definitely one of those indies that ideally supposed to thrive from personal drama. Two actors I…
