  Audiard admitted that he didn’t do much research on Mexico while making this film. Also admitted he decided to make the movie completely in Spanish because it is a language “of modest countries, developing countries, of poor people and migrants.”

  So yeah, this movie is a complete mess of ignorant garbage. And the music sucks too.
