Director Bong's latest sat pretty awkwardly. On the one hand here is a big-ish sci-fi play, that has a lot of the potential meaning and ideas of Snowpiercer or The Host with a great cast. On the other hand, the script just doesn't have what it takes to get any of that over the line.
