really joyful in a way that felt like real life; it’s joyful because of/in spite of the strange and shitty things happening in their lives. I was inspired by the hospitality of that blond man’s taxi, I aim to provide that level of comfort and eccentricity when i next have a vehicle. I really enjoyed the comfort, clarity and humour- that was sometimes her just being kind of a bitch- that came with Pepa’s older age compared to the younger…

It was a really fun satirical and kind of Romantic? exploration of the atomic age and nuclear fear. All the characters and themes are caricatures of themselves.
it also often looked like it had been made exactly to it’s storyboard with nothing added in between.
It felt like Kazuhiko used this film as a bit of a playground, which was so enjoyable and absolutely mad to watch, I really got lost in it

i LOVED this. i don’t care about what was happening at all, the plot is useless to me. the colours the lighting choices, the set design and composition of the shots DELICIOUS. it’s not worth reviewing this like a film because it reads more like dynamic painting to me, it’s so beautiful and considered. i hope Agento and Ulrike Ottinger tip their hats to each other if they pass in the street
Goblin. i owe you my life, the score was phenomenal
