    A disappointing muddle, with its heart in the right place but completely bereft of the precision strike black comedy of “Parasite” or the visual ingenuity or rhythm of Bong’s best work. His typically sharp social commentary feels more blunted and labored than usual, though in all fairness the bleak, horrifying absurdity of everything in the real world right now far outpaces anything satirical fiction could dream up. Points to Pattinson for pushing the inherent unseemly goofiness of his role, even if he never really connects emotionally in a way that makes any of Mickey’s story matter.
