The Quick and the Dead 1995
Really wasn’t impressed by this far fetched comic book version of the Wild West. A lot of big actors in this Sam Raimi film (Sharon Stone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Russel Crowe) but it’s Gene Hackman who steals the show (he arguably carries the movie single-handedly). It’s almost like Sam Raimi watched Hackman’s performance in Unforgiven and wanted him to replicate it with a less interesting script.

Don't Look Up 2021
I don’t understand this film. It’s supposed to be a reflection of how some people today are ignoring climate change, but also decides to be this over the top dark comedy. Some of the characters are really goofy and unrealistic and the tone of the film shifted too extremely to work. The climax of the film was really pretentious and failed to have any emotional impact on me.
