The Boy and the Heron 2023
When I came out of the film it felt like a 3 star but after some reflection and reading over people’s experiences I started to build the blocks in my head - a rewatch might be needed.
Beautifully expressive with every frame almost jaw dropping (especially the fire sequences) the world building a tad soft for me but I’m sure fans would argue that not being a negative.
