Late night find
This film gives me such a big sense of nostalgia. I remember watching it many years ago but could never remember the name but found it randomly when scrolling through Disney +. So I had to watch it!
The storyline is decent but it’s one of those movies that makes you smile and enjoy it even though it isn’t necessarily Oscar worthy.

Watched it this evening with some friends
It’s a very odd film that pushes loads and loads of humour in your face, meaning that it sometimes landed and sometimes didn’t.
The film had so many different twists and turns that it was quite confusing to keep up with!
There is quite a lot of nudity which is clearly done for a comedic effect but for me it was just a bit too much and way too overdone…Translated from by

Absolutely loved it!
Following the murder of a young girl, Jamie Miller is brought into custody and it is immediately made clear that he is guilty. I think the idea of not beating around the bush of who’s guilty adds a very interesting layer to the story as it rather focuses on why Jamie did what he did.

Another impressive film that allows the viewer to understand the tough environment that the American black youth had to grow up in. The escape from poverty and the harsh relations shared with the police and rivalling gangs are portrayed beautifully through the music. The music industry booms with the reemergence of rap through the group of NWA and its members through the years of the late 80s and 90s. Would highly recommend
