  I don't know if the way the themes were told in the most impactful way, but Yella is still interesting and compelling as it explores the neverending cycle of isolation and terror that many women face. Nina Hoss is excellent.

  I think this film is the ultimate proof that David Lynch loves humans. While most of his films are characterized by abstract concepts and the depths of terror that could be conjured up by a human being, this G-rated film had to exist mostly without any of such things, presenting Lynch's greatest challenge as a filmmaker.
