I don't really understand the overwhelming amount of hate this one receives! I recognize that the editing was all over the place, but story-wise this was just as coherent as the other films. They all leave you questioning the reality of the situations, but we make the decision to go in for a fun time, so how can you also be that analytical?

It is the "worst" of the three, technically speaking.
The action is weaker than the previous installments, and nobody even gets taken in this Taken installment; but I will not pretend that I didn't still have a blast with this entire trilogy!

    Taken 2

    ★★★½

Taken 2 is a fun sequel that serves as a great follow-up to the original. The action and stakes have gotten higher and the whole family is involved. These movies were not meant to make you think or feel too much, so it's hard to be very critical when judging them.

My reason for having this slightly lower than the original is because nothing in this is quite as iconic as some of the scenes/dialogue from that first one. Still had just as good of a time, though!

I don't know what they were smoking when creating Leprechaun 3, but THIS is a Leprechaun movie!!

Everything between the kills, the characters, the one-liners, it's all iconic as fuck! Absolute genius to stick this character in the fabulous Las Vegas, there couldn't have been a better setting.
The amulet being Leppy's weakness is a nice touch, and we get to see a grown man turn into a Leprechaun himself. The kills are all so good that I can't even…

A great thriller that became the staple of Liam Neeson's career. It's a fun time all the way through with some very memorable lines and scenes. Great fight choreography.

I'd say the only thing holding it back from being perfect is that there should be some more emotional beats, and the sequence of events should not force the audience to suspend so much disbelief😂
