    The Red Turtle

    ★★★★½

The red turtle is a minimalistic and meditative experience that excels at every aspect with its elegant simplicity. More than the gripping story of survival and all its magical elusiveness it reminded me of life itself. To me the woman in red hair represents that glimpse of life you understand only when you are truly alive. In its routine everything its always moving forward ,from birth to childhood , adulthood , exploring , meeting your own "red turtle" ,reproduction , growing old and in the end... you just meet your end.The only thing that matters is the things that kept you alive while it lasted.

The camera action of wong is insane as always. The characters seem very well build even though u know very little of them, they give you this familiar feeling.I love how this movie succeeds at delivering the idea of how what's past is strongly chained to the everyday present and you often find yourself in an endless "letting go" dilemma.
