crazy cinematography!! barrel distortion never looked so good. crazy soundtrack!! anxiety never looked so stylish.
exposes all the crap we deal with everyday with screaming clarity — well-meaning family members who cause more stress than comfort, the ubiquitous and empty promises of consumerism, the constant obligation to explain ourselves to people we don’t even care about, and fucking con artists. who wouldn’t go crazy?
overall, finished the film feeling a little better about embarrassing myself 17930 times a week.
