  Einer dieser Filme, über den man nur durch Zufall stolpert. Ein überraschend bekannter französischer Cast in einem ganz einfach gehaltenen Mittelalter-Set dreht die Geschlechterrollen des 14. Jahrhunderts auf den Kopf. Außerdem lauscht die Hauptfigur an einem Brathähnchen. Großartig.

  Apart from the more pretentious parts about critics, I really liked this. It was funny and mostly self-aware and especially the casting and writing stood out to me as special. In it's treatment of Riggan it packages a whole lot more than hollywood egos. He is a man who does not belong to himself anymore. He is a father, an (ex-)husband and the central pillar of the play as Zack Galifianakis's character keeps reminding him. He is not able to…

  Apparently this had about 8000$ budget and they really made the most out of it. Not enough actual cooking for my taste but definitely elevated above a lot of low-budget comedies. Also the first movie from Zimbabwe I've ever watched.
