Riveting! I never had a desire to watch this film, despite the incredible reviews, but after watching Mister Organ by David Farrier I was curious. And it lived up to the hype (and comparisons to a horror film)! I don’t normally like narration from the documentary maker but David has an incredible way of story telling and taking the audience on these bizarre, niche investigations with him. The Tickle King - the follow up short documentary - is a MUST WATCH - wild.

Untold: Breaking Point 2021
Have absolutely loved the Untold series and thought the final documentary was particularly special. I didn’t know Mardy Fish’s story but it was incredible to learn about. I thought the scope of the series was great - I hope they make more, and more with female athletes!

For the Birds 2018
I’ve been left heart broken. I’ve learnt about animal hoarding at uni and it’s so complex and awful for everyone involved. I think this documentary beautifully humanizes Kathy and shows how animal hoarding is an illness and how the stigmatization of it is so harmful. In the same regard it shows how complex the situation when everyone has the right intention - really makes you ponder. The sideplot of Kathy and Gary’s friendship is so special and touching also. And nothing beats the scene of the Lawyers Office - could honestly be a scene from The Office.
