Nosferatu 2024
Some chilling imagery and grand performances, but it borrows so much imagery from Herzog’s ‘Nosferatu’ and doesn’t achieve the same kind of dread. Eggers wants to achieve the same kind of gothic love story of ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’ but it comes nowhere near it.
I’m sorry to compare the works but when those previous iterations are so good and easily available, it begs what this new ‘Nosferatu’ is offering.

After watching ‘The Quick and the Dead’ this afternoon I was suddenly in the mood for modern western serials and popped in my DVD for this show for the first time. All I really gotta say is “hell yeah” to the writers of the third Indiana Jones movie making a tv show in the same vein, I look forward to watching the rest.
