Terribly anthropocentric.
The accolades of this movie are well deserved - I mean what other movie has black hole graphics so accurate that each frame takes 100 hours to render. The space shots in this movie are genuinely impressive and existentially triggering.
Unfortunately, the attention to detail which Nolan and crew put into accurately depicting the cosmos pales in comparison to the detail they put into considering the dirt, and the non-human life which is its inhabitants, neighbours, and shapers.…
