Mermaidia picks up right where Fairytopia (2005) left off. In defeating Laverna and her anti-queer Fungus army, Elina and the guardians’ rainbow magic has successfully turned them all gay. The once-homophobic Fungi now target Nalu: the only straight white man left in all of Fairytopia-adjacent.
