When there is money to be made from forcefully, surgically changing someones appearance and giving them a new life without really explaining anything or getting formal consent from them, of course some lunatic will do that.
When we look at the main character, Hamilton, we see someone we all probably know, a person completely alienated from himself by means of being forced into dull work instead of being given time for joyful creating and playing.

Although I had to watch it on my old crappy Laptop, Thief is one of the most beautiful Things I have ever seen in my life.
It shows every aspect of visual film making masterfully abstracted.
Unusual, seemingly unnecessary editing, repititions and monumental, everlasting slo-mos.
Time is being bent and frames overflow with light to a point of complete unrecognizability.At the Climax of his work, his supposed last Job, Frank sits down and stares into space.

Nick Cage auf Koks UND eine Bikersekte auf irgendeinem MonsterLSDGemisch ZUSAMMEN!!! Mandy ist ein wunderschöner, total kranker Film, der einen in einer psychedelischen, kaputten, und vor allem einer bunten, blutigen Welt voller Wahnsinniger-, fanatischer Sektenmitglieder, mörderischem Holzfällerwerkzeug, abgetrennter Gliedmaßen und dem geilsten Filmkorn, das ich je gesehen hab, gefangen hält.
