Watching this in the theater in 2006, I was sure that "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell was my new favorite song.
Turns out, I only listen to it when I watch Casino Royale, but it still might be my favorite song, if only because it's attached to this movie.
I think I like Skyfall more than this, overall, but this movie was formative for me, and it has aged incredibly. (Might be coming back to update my review…

I love the part these films have in the MCU. A perfect palette cleanser after Infinity War. The only downside is that the stakes never feel quite what they could with a little more heft in the script.
The mid-credit scene, however, more than makes up for that overall predictability, creating gravitas and tension that had me leaving the theater in a very different place than I expected.
Necessary? Not at all. But then again, we didn't have a spy movie that went full-on Man of Steel and murdered dozens of people in a chase sequence; now we do. So I guess it has that going for it.
Don't worry, there's an epic few chases and they play Moby's Extreme Ways at the end. It ticks the boxes. The plot is extremely eyeroll-inducing and delivery here is mediocre at best (seriously, Julia Stiles?) but in the end action…
