It's a fun ride for sure. Really fresh concept and had me intrigued out of the gate.
However
The CGI is definitely wonky at times with a very dated feel to some of it and there was some serious cut-some-corners-itis that took away from my overall rating.
Go into it with a passive mindset and maybe some herbal treats and it's a good time

This movie ooze awkward and entitlement. Nic Cage plays the version of himself that he doesn't get to play often, the meek but ego inflated adcademic with a feeling of the world against him. The supporting cast did an amazing job feeling like regular people in a surrealist situation. It's always difficult to find true meanings or the undertone when it comes to dream movies, but the murky purpose of this flick gives just enough to leave you guessing about…
