  This movie is deeply uncomfortable and amazingly made me want to retch like 4 times. Definitely not for the squeamish at all. That said, I felt neither the acting nor the script were all that great. But the whole thing just shocked me so much that I couldn't help but keep watching. Also, if you're sensitive to slurs don't watch this. It's filled with them, which continues the discomfort here.

  What a devastating film. I watched this after having seen a spoiler review on YouTube, but figured I'd dive into it anyway. Even spoiled this movie still feels so sad. The fourth star on this review is definitely earned from the thoughts and discussion that are immediately prompted while trying to process the choice of this ending. It's simultaneously both completely understandable and still soul crushing.

  I'm giving this a 3 because it's very well done, but I honestly walked away from this not knowing how I felt. All the performances are good, the story is pretty interesting and the finale was pretty good. And yet I felt kinda, meh, about it?

  This was a middling watch for me. I don't know that this sequel lived up to the intensity or scare factor of the first film. It has that unfinished middle movie in a trilogy feeling and as a result all of these stories are just left kind of up in the air by the end.
