Kick’n soundtrack with beautiful visuals. Spent far too much time trying to make sense of the plot before leaning into the monologues. Once you let the glow overtake you it turns into an enjoyable flow into its incredibly sad ending.

A significant film, made up of wonderful black and white shots conveying the harsh setting. A film that is both brutal and beautiful in the way it conveys religion and life. I have a spot for movies that seem to put the titular character in a position of observing, active in his life around him but watching and learning.
