This movie is one of the best explorations of family dynamics and conflicts I've seen. The way Wes manages to introduce the characters, the conflicts between them, and the main narrative at the same time is truly exceptional. He crafts a fantastical yet grounded reality in which we, the viewers, are instantly captivated by the Wes Anderson-esque cinematography and heartfelt performances.
As per usual Wes uses another medium as his framing device and in this movie he wisely chose books.…Translated from by
