Upon entering the cinema I turned to my friends and said “if I see any flying sharks I’m leaving.” Without having seen the original Twister film, I was pleasantly surprised by how little this film resembled Sharknado. In fact, the protagonist’s kind of redemptive arc, made for an engaging storyline. Without taking itself too seriously the film communicated the good of self-sacrifice. A worthwhile watch.
