“Are they bad actors or are they just acting to be bad actors on purpose?”, my girlfriend asked me; a question that I was asking myself the whole time during this magical tale. My answer is clearly the latter.
Riddle of Fire leans into a narrative as if it was something out of a board game or a Zelda/Elder Scrolls fantasy adventure. A whirlwind adventure of meeting strange yet memorable NPCs handing out more quests that the lead protagonists will need to complete in order to fulfil their main quest line, a 2 hour game sesh with the lads.
