There Will Be Blood 2007
A sociopath adopts an orphan and they go on a spiritual journey involving liquid gold and the blood of a holy man.
All jokes aside, I've watched this movie three times with several years between each viewing. A simple plot with many small complexities that produce one of the best "drama/suspense/horror" movies of all time. Sir Daniel Michael Blake Day-Lewis is truly a master of his craft.
