Spencer 2021
I believe that only Kristen Stewart could play this role, to bring the emotional charge necessary to bring Lady Day to life again. Children of Men 2006
Everything we see needs to be there, all things in the scenario is part of the reality contextualization, gray and dark. A great film about the hopelessness and madness of humanity without expectations, without empathy. Life so dear is disposable and unnecessary, because there will be no one to recover what is being lost.

Last Night in Soho 2021
It certainly wasn't what I expected, it leaves the connection between the characters open, and it's basically a film about obsession and the 60's, whether it's music or cinema. Akira 1988
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Akira is not about a hero birth or a jorney to find a hero, it's about a several catastrophes. An explosion (nuclear or not) that "starts" that world and its flaws. A flawed and incoherent political system, disconnected from its people. Another explosion is perceived as a "fresh start", perhaps an endless cycle of loss and chaos. There are clear references to the change of body and mind, and appeals to issues intrinsic to teenage days. It was a huge step forward from Asian culture and productions, so it deserves all the credit for its execution and pop importance.
