Longlegs 2024
finally a horror movie with a concept of dramatic lighting! for all its flaws, longlegs is just a beautiful fucking film. in story terms, the neurotic fbi agent investigating the murders is a significantly more compelling character than the flamboyant, theatrical killer, which is to the film's credit. the shift in subgenre is jarring, a bit silly, and requires a few leaps of logic, but it also gives life to an otherwise predictable plot.
