Back when filmmakers were allowed to take risks with IPs.
This movie is severely underrated. That doesn't mean it's an amazing movie, but it has a lot of heart and soul poured into it. The Hulk isn't Godzilla, he's Frankenstein; a wandering childlike soul that just needs to be loved or left alone. M.I.L.F. (man I had no hope for this whatsoever)
The previous 3 movies belong to one of the only consistently good blockbuster trilogies. WAR is underdiscussed in how amazing its CGI was at a time in which studios began cutting corners HEAVY on visual effects. But the heart lies in the characterization.
