when you approach this work of cinema with a feminist lens, you will find madame web is a flaming pile of dogshit but i loved every minute of it. you can really tell dakota johnson hated being in the film, but not as much as i hated watching it. i wish i could unsee it bc it was so bad but also so i can rewatch that fever dream of a movie for the first time bc it was so good.
