    One of my favorite (dark) comedies. It’s full of strange morally grey characters. Maybe not so grey, they are pretty bad people, but at least they do have some good qualities that shine through every now and then. Like a racist little person that does drugs and hires sex workers.     This movie is absolutely amazing. All of the shots were filmed on location and it makes the film so much more intense. Klaus Kinski, the actor that plays Aguirre is just as mad. Werner Herzog knew that he would fit the role so well and I am glad he had that insight. Amazing movie!
