Rambo first blood with a fresh new take. 👍👍
Aaron Pierre killed it and made a convincing “leave me alone, but I’ll hurt ya if you don’t” protagonist.
The non-lethal desculation was a fine way to get military endorsement without backlash for killing cops, but it was the attention to detail for tactical hand to hand combat that really stood out.Also, take a look at the director, writer, producer aaaaand editor…all Saulnier - he certainly put all of his heart soul mind and wallet into this project and it shows. Great film.

A Quiet Place: Day One 2024
Lupita can do no wrong - her acting in this is captivating and so engaging with the audience. And the action sequences rival the first movie. But the film turned into “follow the bouncing ball” I mean cat, and it lost its novelty.
We wanted a unique take on the alien invasion but learned nothing new about the aliens and the story telling lost it’s individualistic perspective once it became clear we were just going to see this cat survive…
