    I think the stage musical is quite good, but what I'm reviewing here is the film. I'm disappointed that it only covers half the story, something perhaps necessary for an adaptation of Dune but not for this. Despite covering so little content, it's 2.5 hours long, and that's because the story gets drawn out far more than it needs to. I'm happy with the performances and with most of the special effects, but I was so underwhelmed to see this was only a part 1.
