Howl's Moving Castle 2004
This movie is very good. A few gripes regarding showing too much and being slightly bloated are blown away by masterful visuals, a sublime soundtrack, and a cast you can't help but love. This movie is so, so good. Very worth the hype.

The Wind Rises 2013
A solid watch.
As always studio ghibli pleases with gorgeous visuals, cinematography and overall artistic direction.
The plot is a bit spotty, and not as gripping as one would like from a world as inately beautiful as the one depicted here would ask for.
Overall, very worth a view. Even if the main plot itself is nothing to ride home about, I personally think the rest of the movie carries it far beyond its faults.Translated from by
