Honestly don’t know what to say. It was very artsy and looked so well for its period, but most of the movie is just a waiting game and it’s not that scary until maybe the end, but only a little bit. Still enjoyed good chunks of it though.

Funny yet hauntingly scarring knowing that there is a lot of this in reality, even more scary that cults like this have done just as bad or even worse things after this movie came out. Like this was a warning or foreshadow. The Jones Family was a few years after this film came out, it’s fucking scary bro. This film proves that if you manipulate and condition anyone enough, you will always have mental power over them, and they won’t stop at anything. Scary as fuck what this film teaches, especially those disturbing final moments of pure carnage.

I have seen the Godfather trilogy twice and the first time I was confused but thought it was decent, the 2nd time I loved it except for Part III. So now I felt it was ready to watch this, which was The Godfather and The Godfather Part II in one movie in timeline order, 7 hours long. It was hecking worth it, this was so awesome and I was more invested the whole time then I was when I watched…
