Well acted and well directed. One of my favorite scenes is when the oil rig catches fire and we see Daniel Day-Lewis running with the fire in the background. Very beautiful and the acting in this is absolutely amazing! As always Daniel's performance is the highlight and it's kind of fun seeing him willing to do anything to get his oil. Average Marvel movie. Nothing to gawk at. I think that the movie could've done a better job of fleshing out the newer characters since I think there was a scene that made me want to see more of the 'family' dynamics. I think the villain was alright and taking on an organization seems a little odd. And although it wasn't executed amazingly I thought it was fine. There were some average moments and to me that's all this movie was. Average
Solid movie. Came away thinking about it and the elements of the movie. Score I think might've been misplaced or inappropriate at times but I enjoyed the plot twist at the end.
Conceptually I think this movie was pulled off really well and the ending had me wondering the fate of the main protaganist.
Not Leonardo's best performance but still pretty good. I think the supporting cast was amazing and Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley did a good job with their respective roles I think. I came away satisfied from the movie and I would probably watch it again
A darn spanking rooting tooting of a good movie!
Right off the bat it's amazing to see the protagonist and see so much of his character without being told any exposition that feels unnatural. The movie starts off at the protagonist's wife's funeral and we already see who he is as a person and flaws he has.
